i found this very interesting :-

TimeSearcher can be downloaded for academic and non-commerical use

and

We are also willing to make source code available to collaborators

I imagine if google did something like this.

I wonder how many WW members they will get ;)

Google's owners haven't said whether they will adopt the Stanford research, but Google co-founder Sergey Brin was in the audience.
