Please help if you can - I have four computers (3 PC, 1 Mac) connected to a router with a cable connection to the net. Additionally, I subscribe to the "hedge.org" filtering service (proxy server). All has previously worked fine for several months.

A few days ago, one of the PC's (IE6, Win XP) began showing the below error message whenever we attempted to access [msn.com...] Error message:
(Quote)
Sorry, due to heavy traffic on the network, the page you're trying to reach is temporarily unavailable.
You can:
Wait a few minutes and try again.
Click your browser's Refresh button now to try reconnecting.
Click your browser's Back button to return to the previous page.

Error type 500 - Server Too Busy (End Quote)

I have cleared cache, temp files and cookies, and still get the same result. My other systems ARE able to reach the msn.com url without a hitch. What's going on?

I get that too. Do you have MSN Messenger running? Sometimes it has to do with that.

MSN Messenger? I don't know what that is, my ISP is cox.net and I use Outlook Expresscvfor email. I really don't use IM or antyhing of that nature. Have you been able to correct the denial of access to msn.com?
