ive seen dozens of sites selling popup traffic for around 20$ for 10,000 Visitors.

i wonder if any of you guys have purchased traffic from such sites?

and does such traffic convert into sales?

it's a case by case thing, according to our experience. You need to know your niche well and know how the traffic you are buying has been generated.

It does, as long as it has been narrowly filtered. Buying unfiltered traffic is a waste of $.

Don't afraid to ask your source questions about the traffic you are buying, because many will sell asian, non-productive one to the unaware. This applies to any exit traffic, including popups.

I would think that the ads would have to be run on sites that are highly targeted to the KW set you are after in order to get a ROI. Pop ups for "snow shovels " aren't going to convert if the ad is running on a site about "sun tan lotion."
