Would Search engines consider this Spam/doorway page?

I am working on creating a virtual mall. Within my categories, I will have around 10 stores per page with a small description (50-100 words). I would like to also add a "more information link" for each store with a little better desciption and a general list of products they sell. Would this extra page be considered a doorway page by the search engines?

If your virtual mall is based exclusively on affiliate links and these category "detail" pages are your only content, i guess, they would.

I would.

I wouldn't worry about it, they don't seem to care about doorway pages. I have been submitting spam reports for one site with nothing more then a few thousand doorway affiliate pages for months. And it still ranks in the top 10 of for many, many searches.

Sounds like an extended shopping directory to me. What exactly makes you think it might be penalized? How do you plan to set up the internal linking?
