Hi,

I have heard some people say that if you are targeting the keyword phrase say "electric widget" you should write at least 5 pages specificaly targeting this phrase....not just 1.

Is this correct? If so, would you theme it so all pages were off the same page and didn't link to each other?

E.G.

Home page
Electric widget information page (Then the following all linking off this page:)

-electric widget page 1
-electric widget page 2
-electric widget page 3 etc

How would you name the pages as well? Say the first page is www.yoursite.com/electric-widget.html what would you call the next 4?

Also, if you then wanted to target the keyword phrase "american electric widget" would you then need to come up with another 5 content pages for that variation of the keyword phrase?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Cheers

Depends on if you are talking duplicate content or unique content?

Duplicate Content Related [google.com]:

See what I just did there?

I understood what Brett was saying but i'd love to hear a bit more about my original question......in regard to unique content...not deliberate spam.

Thanks in advance for your help
