Sorry if this has been addressed before, & perhaps this is stretching the definition of 'Google News' a little - but I was wondering - Once one has gone as far as they feel they can with optimising for Google, or just gotten plain sick & feeling a change'd be as good as a rest, What would be the most logical engine to move onto optimising for (trying to avoid ppc or other forms of sponsored listing?)

Out of curiosity I looked at how my sites did on my best search words and phrases on several of the search engines other than Google. It appears all the work I've done to make my site look good to Google helped me in the others as well even those with no connection to Google.

Considering how few people seem to use most of the other search engines I think I'll just stick to optimizing for Google. Seems like every time I think I've done about everything I can something I read in Google News gives me an idea of something else I can work on.
