I want to switch my site from dynamic (Using PHP) to static html - but I a little afraid - how does it affect my search engine positioning?

The thing is that all links to my site from search engines indexes become different - for example now link looks like /index.php?firm=992348739&cntm=0 and in static it will look like /keyword1_keyword2.html

So does it mean I will have a lot of problems with search engines (especially Google) and my traffic goes down?

Thanks

Yes, you will see a temporary drop until search engines have found your new pages. Give it at least two months for Google. Help engines by setting up a site map linked to your main page by a simple text link. Add links to all your pages in the site map, with keywords in link text and maybe a sentence to explain where the link leads. Cheers!

Make sure you set up redirects from your dynamic pages to static pages. And use 301 redirect, that way you won't lose anything.
