Hi Everyone,

I am fairly new to this forum so I hope this is the correct place to post this!

I have been monitoring my site in the search engines for about a year now and have done pretty well with placement. I recently installed a Firewall software and Anti-Virus software about two months ago and ever since I did that I have noticed that Google has not crawled my site. I haven't done anything differently to the site except for update the content. Can anyone tell me if they have every had this problem or if there is a problem with Google and Firewalls? Thanks.

Unless you have done something very specific it's fair to say that if regular external web users can access your website then so can the Googlebot since they are using an identical mechanism to see your site.

Thanks, Tony! I know that people can access my site from the outside, but still not sure why it hasn't crawled the site.

I am going to research this a little more and see what I can find out.

Again, thanks for the quick reply!
