Hi everyone. I want to know if ripping someone elses content and style sheets is a grounds to be penalised by google. I would like to know before the update as I have just caught our competition doing this thanks

The content filters should catch this kind of things. The older duplicated content should be penalized and his PR downgraded. BUT, to be sure you should copyright your content and email searchquality@google.com to report your competitors behavior.
