Can spiders index content behind the URL

I would like to set up a tracking URL for each link on my home page to see which links are getting clicked the most. This tracking URL will redirect to the actual page where visitors will go. Will this negatively impact the spider's ability to crawl the page and get to the content behind the links and indexed? Any other ideas about how to track this? Thanks much

hi dfrancis,

i won't create a redirect on each link only to track it. why don't you run an analyzer on your log-files. this will be quite the same but you don't have to redirect for this.
