Discussion with a representative from Macromedia on the shortcomings of Flash as related to search engines [actionscript.com].

nice pick. for me still unanswered is the question if this sdk fast for example is using, will make it with swf v6 files or not.

i skipped making full flash sites 2 years ago because of this. even if it's a nice thing and every customer cries for it, the skip intro link is one of the best things, a site developer can do. :)

Why is this important... John Dowdell, the man from Macromedia participating in the discussion, is sort of like the Flash communities Google Guy. Big stuff at stake in his and ultimately Macromedia's understanding of SEM and how it relates to it's product's shortcomings.

Much more interesting and deserving of attention that it appears.
