Hi,

I'm new to the board, but have been hovering and reading in the background for a while now.

Does anyone know of any books/sites that explain the workings of the major search engines?

I suppose I'm looking for a comprehensive listing of;
What criteria the major SE use to rank a site
What optimisation should be carried out
And the theory behind the SE's. (Just seen the SE Theory thread :) )
