I've been seeing some pages in google that are ranked very high for competitive keywords, and they are using some sort of script to mass produce the pages, and the webmasters are not being banned, because I see their pages in google month after month. For example, their pages would be:
[domain.com...]
[domain.com...]
and they have thousands of pages on each domain, and they have hundreds of domains. I guess what I'm looking for is a script to mass produce pages like these, each page targeted for a specific keyword according to set templates that I can input. I guess you could call it a doorway maker, but I think I'm looking for a script that's a bit more sophisticated, a sript that can create unique, different pages, so it's not blatant spam.
I've also seen pages like
domain.com/cgi-bin/index.pl/folder/keyword_here.html
getting listed high in Google. Does anyone know what kind of scripts these people are using, and where I can purchase these scripts that can build tons of pages based on templates? It doesn't matter if the script can cloak or not. Or I've also seen pages like these
www.domain.com/foldername_here/keyword_here.asp
Can anyone please point me in the right direction to get scripts like these? Thanks a lot
Also it's generally much easier to just produce good, quality content - and then the success you will enjoy is longer lasting.
Welcome to WebmasterWorld! There is a lot of info here, my usual suggestion is to start with the site search [searchengineworld.com] if you need some info - fast - that might have been covered before.
Cheers.

I've got a parenting site that my wife and I run, which gateways a few groups like misc.kids, alt.breastfeeding etc and brings in fresh and relevant content to the site. With some well placed links and optimisation, we've hit a PR of 5 in two months and have a huge cluster of keywords on the site which could not have been possible with automated content.
Research the newsgroups and see if you can find an active one with revlevant content.
Send me sticky mail if you want to see the sites I run.
