HI Folks,

Back again, hope you can help me. I am trying to learn about SEO, an initiative kind of thrown at me.
From what I have learned I revised my site title to under 60 char. provided good keywords, etc. Submitted to all the majors ex, Looksmart, should we pay the $49? and am establishing new reciprocal links every day with sites within our industry, what more should I be doing?
It seems that my client is looking for a new web master and in going to interview with a small company that seems to do everything design and SEO-is this going to put me out of a job? Thus far we are listed in Google under ODP.
Should I invest in SEO software?
Help please!
Thanks!

For my perspective I would not pay for it, but if you have the budget, why not.

Don’t bother with SEO software, it will likely do you more harm than good if you use it too often.

I may be wrong but it sounds like the company they are going to interview will be a more design than SEO.

Read this thread to give your client a list of difficult questions that you know, or at least know to ask that they can ask the design company

Thank you!
This is a big help!
A couple of questions. What is a link farm? and how do I find out how many sites are pointing to mine beyond the reciprocal relationships I have developed. and what is a referer URL?.
