Do the major search engines have the ability to find the keyword in a URL like this:

www.keywordstore.com

I believe you'll hear two answers. I think (and I'm no SEO expert) that the going idea is that if you want to hit the keywords "keyword" and "store" then you should use "keyword_store" instead.

I would use keyword-store (hyphen) rather than keyword_store (underscore). See [webmasterworld.com...] specially messages #8 by GoogleGuy and #12 by WebGuerilla.

I'd go with hyphens just because of what GoogleGuy and WebG said ... but I have used underscores in file extensions and they are found just as easily on Google.
