I haven't been into SEO for long but I found this site <snip> it had the following with other bad information. How can they offer such a service? i'm sure with the knowledge I have gained from reading here and other forums I could do a better job. I wonder if they are making any money.

- This text can be either visible text that the surfer can easily read or it can be colored to match the background rendering it difficult to be seen visually while still readily apparent to the search engines.

Probably making a bit of money off people and businesses who don't know any better (although not too much as they are not even ranked by Google heh) But that's like any industry - you will always find a whole heap of cowboy snake-oil sellers who claim to offer miracle results with their latest re-grow hair tonic/50ft plant growing feed/150,000 hits for only $30/super-duper guaranteed number one position search engine optimisation tricks..etc etc ;)

Firstly, I think that URL will be removed - naming and shaming is against TOS.

Secondly, they will most likely get their clients sites penalised.

Finally, I didnt need to check out the site, but i certainly would never touch a SEO service with that particular brand name. Very tacky! ;)

I Agree with JOAT i would remove the url - tos.

There are many sites out there which offer the world for next to nothing, just drive on by and don't look back.

SEO Isn't black magic or a "one button fix all", kind of industry, but until the industry becomes more main stream your will always get people preying on the not so knowledgeable IMHO

Using hidden text can lead to a ban in Google as it is against their TOS.
