Given an unlimited budget - where would you list

My clients are listed in all the usual places - PFI and non-PFI - Google, DMOZ, Yahoo, Teoma, Inktomi, AltaVista, LookSmart etc. But I'm sure I must have overlooked some.

Would WebmasterWorld members like to contribute to a comprehensive wishlist of all the places they would want their site to be listed?

I'm sure we could all gain some ideas.

Great question. Thinking off the top of my head (its been a busy day), with an unlimited budget it might be worth checking out places like Hoovers, which lists business web sites and their pertinent information, there are various sites out there like this. Business.com is another for B2B. Sometimes it is not even the traffic that is as attractive as the "getting your name out there/branding" and link popularity advantage. Of course it all depends on what audience you are targeting.

I'd guess expanding the number of pages of your current paid listings would be a good idea as well.

The other area to check into is specialized search engines, see which paid inclusion portals are worth submitting to that are targeted to the subject of your website.

Just the start of a long list of "if only"...

Hi WebRookie - I thought it was a good question too - but no-one else has responded to it!

Are folks hiding their cards?
