Hi all, I have to do SEO for a site wich can be displayed in three diferent lenguages (you can choose it from the home page). Of course we want to get rankings for the main keywords in the three languages. Wich is the best way to get it? (separated domains, subdomains,language folders,...)
Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Digimon,

I think I recall reading a thread that reccommended people register unique domains for each language, and interlink them as part of the template.

I've not done it, it's just a conclusion I recall reading after a long, relevant thread.

Yes, the suggestion is to get unique domain names if possible. This can also sometimes help you get listed in local SEs or directories that limit registration to a local top level domain.

I'll assume that we are referring to country specific tld's. If so, then yes, that would be the appropriate way to target the languages. In fact, I think that is really the only way to go based on the behaviors of country specific SE's and Directories. Normally precendence is given to country specific tld's when it comes to languages, am I correct?

country specific tld's

Yes, I should have been more specific with my language...that's exactly what I was recommending.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'll asume that TLD means = ¿¿Top Level Domains?
;)
(sometimes abbreviations are a little bit hard for non-english speakers in the board)
Thanks again.

Digimon, you are correct. Sorry about that. You get so used to throwing around the acronyms that you sometimes forget that not everyone knows what the heck they are!

TLD's = Top Level Domains
