I am working with a client. HTML was bad. I keyword analyzed it, and the results showed density for a bunch of numbers. The numbers matched their software version (2.0)

I cleaned up the HTML and now the analyzer shows fabulous density for their targeted keywords.

Does this mean that the html had been getting in the way of the SE spiders, and thus explains their bad se performance?

Yikes.. could well have been.

Have you tried the sim spider on it? (also at SEW) That showed up some rotten html on one site I looked at recently.

The results looks great. All the on page text shows up.

HOWEVER, the sim spider doesn't properly resolve relative links. Does this mean that spiders prefer the entire url, or is this a problem with the sim spider.

When I click on "keyword analyze this link" it doesn't work because it's adding http:// to a relative link (http://mydirectory/index.html)
