I am looking for information on the use of Inktomi Index Connect with dynamic sites.

Earlier strings on this subject indicated that there was a setup fee and a PPC charge (the latter 25 cents). Are there any other charges to be expected?

Although this is a PPC, position is still determined by the SE algorithm. Is this correct?

I understand Inktomi currently provides a feed to MSN and Overture (the latter seem like a conflict). Has anyone been able to determine if the Index Connect yielded an increase in traffic on these or other SE?

The Inktomi site indicates that the database can be fed to them by XML, and that they will index it every 48 hrs. Does anyone have experience with this or other methods to provide them access to the website database?

There are lots of commercial firms that will be more than willing to answer your questions about the INK program.

As it's a commercial product, your best bet would be to ask them, or a reseller, about the service.

Do a search in google :) for "inktomi reseller" or similar, and I'm sure you can find a sales person quickly who will answer your questions.

Cheers.

Would redirect urls in the MSN.com SERP's be indicative of "Inktomi Index Connect" customers?

example of redirect: "redirect.inktomi.com/www.paying-site.com" etc

I just noticed that these redirects are sprinkled in with regular search results. Mouse over the different url's and view the path in your browser's address bar.
