Backwards Links

I have links pointing to me but no backward links?

What is the difference in links pointing to you and backward links. I have many links that point to my site as well as mine point back. When I go to google and check my backward links, it says there are none to be found. I have a PR4 with google and I dont understand why nothing is showing up.

Are the sites that are pointing to you indexed by Google?
That could be a major reason right there.

The sites linking to you may not have high enough Page Rank to be showing up. Unless they are they won't show.

Mostly all of the sites linking in to me are PR4 and higher in google.
