Awhile ago(2 years,) I recall looking at monster and hotjobs for jobs listed for search engine optimization. There were maybe 4 or 5 jobs posted. Out of curiousity I went to monster and looked for search engine optimization jobs and theres 41 of them. What does this tell me? Companies are finally recognizing this field of work. It feels good to be wanted.....

I know exactly what you mean...I was checking that out the other day out of curiosity. When looking, remember that sometimes the title is "web marketing", "internet marketing", "website marketing", "search engine marketing", "website promotion", etc. You add all of these up and the numbers become pretty signifcant.

I was looking for SEO jobs just this past December - let alone 2 years ago - and I barely found any job listings then!
Times have really changed.
It's good to know there are more opportunities out there now for SEO's in the world.
