Story Here [digitalmass.boston.com]

AND... according to the live poll "sidebar" at Boston.com as of 12:09EST of 1779 people surveyed, 70.4% of respondents used Google, 14.9% used YAHOO!, 3.9 OTHER, followed by MSN with 2.4%, Lycos with 2.2, all the way down to Overture with .2, and Looksmart with .1

I imagine the skew is fairly large compared to the general population, as Boston.com readers are primarily from the largest financial, technical and education region of the country (outside of Silicon Valley - for tech segment)

Thanks John. I read that story yesterday I believe, and I am not surprised in the least.

''It's important for people to know whether or not their search results are being bought by big business,'' said Gary Ruskin, the group's executive director.

Ahh, how true.
