Meta redirect pages

I've set up some meta redirect pages linking form my sites "Country Selection" homepage to the main Country specific websites.

These were initially nothing more than a blank white page, code similar to the following:

<title>UK redirect</title>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0;URL=\Grid.asp?sysPage=wsHome&wsCountry=UK">
</head>
<body></body>
</html>

The reason I set these up in the first place was for tracking.

Yesterday, however, I realised there may be some lost potential in these pages. So, I added some keyword-ridden text, links, meta keywords and descriptions.

The page still serves its initial purpose, but is be more spider friendly now.

But I'm now wondering whether some search engines may consider this spam...????
