I don't think anyone can guarantee you to be in the top 10, but this thread is a great way to start your climb. You might also use the site search to find more ideas.

meta-tags are not the key. contect, site structure, simplicity and related links are the means.

Brett, ammassed a 26 point list too work towards on a day by day basis, that will get you there.

The list is extremely comprehensive, and the closer you can get to ticking off each of the 26 points, the closer your site will be to getting to the top of Google.
