Search engines

hi to all!
I need ur wisdom for one more time...
case:

I have a link (www.mydomain/uk) which calls the page (www.mydaomain/uk/index.php or .htm)and works perfectly...however..is it search engine friendly or do I need to insert a / after the ../uk?
it work fine for me but I also need it to be recognized be search bots and spiders....
I know its simple to add a / but in my case its not...
Any suggestion will be appreciated...

I would run it through a SE spider simulator such as this one here..
[searchengineworld.com...]

Test out the variations and see what works (or not)
