Viewing php files?

Only just started with php and wondered if there was some easy way of viewing on my pc, what the results of that page are, (not the code) please? Not sure if I've explained it properly, but when I'm working on my .html files in my editor, I can switch from 'code' view to preview mode to see how the page is working out - is there any *easy* way of doing that with the php files?

Any help appreciated.

Dexie.

the best way to view php files locally is a local install of apache/php/mysql (if you use it).

There are a couple of threads in the PHP Library [webmasterworld.com] that walk through how to accomplish this.

Many thanks for that, it looks a little complicated, but in the absence of anything easier, will give it a try.

i fully agree with Jatar_k

however if you feel installing them difficult

then i think this is the best option for you

[sourceforge.net...]

One Installer File will install Apache+PHP+MySQL on your windows machine Altogether.

its like Get Set Go.
