To get the the id of the previous insert the line would be.

$pid=mysql_insert_id();

just wanted to ask since I won't be able to test till sometime next week then if it doesn't work I won't have a clue what's causeing it.

and you have to feed it your db connection var

$pid=mysql_insert_id($connect);
