PHP coding? Help please!

New user looking for help

Can anyone explian the basics please? I have been all over the internet trying to read their guides and stuff, bu I just can't seem to grasp their concepts! Can anyone figure out a way to explain it in a simpler way? Thank you.

try reading this book by Kevin Yank. [sitepoint.com]

you can download the first few chapters. at the site too.

buying it at amazon may be a little cheeper.

I use the book side by side with O'Reilly's programing PHP. but I use the O'Reilly book just as a desktop reference.

Yank will give it to you step-by-step in a not so textbook-manual kind of way.
