session variables lost in IE6 but fine in Firefox?

I seem to be loosing the value of my session variables. I verify that the user is logged in nearly every page. At random I they show logged out.

Now I retested the site using Firefox and it works perfectly and the user stays logged in until log out.

Is there a bug in session variable storage with IE6?

I can't find the threads at the moment but we have talked about this a few times, it is an IE problem, I think it had to do specifically with https, can't remember.

I have had the same problem, just kinda stopped caring, I first made sure it wasn't me doing something strange with my sessions. It seems to happen very rarely now. If it does happen though they just have to login again.

unfortunately none of us can code for the fact that IE really sucks. ;)
