Hello

I am trying to get hold of a job listing application using php. Simple stuff really, need it as an example.

3 levels

admin
advertiser
public

Simple listings of jobs and admin etc.

Prefer freeware that I can use to learn from.

don't know of any myself but I almost never look for or use any free scripts. Why not just start writing and see what you come up with.

You will probably understand better and might even do a better job. ;)

I completely agree with jatar_k on this topic. Writing your own will allow you to create an application that will work best for you, instead of adapting yourself to someone else's ideas. Try brain storming on what you will want inside of it, then start where I do. The beginning. ;) Many of times, I had tried using someone else's ideas and found myself ripping out hair, but when its of my own design.... WOW is all I have to say.

Your 100% right. After mulling it over all the way home last night and whilst punishing myself at the gym I realised I was after a quick fix. :) (sorry)

Beware what you have possibly created when I start to ask this forum for help with woes related to sessions, loops, etc etc.

Thanks for hammering that home....where is that php book :)

Cheers
