Any experience with PHP Magic, PHP Maker, etc?

Looking for a user-friendly web interface with MYSQL

I am working on building a web-based MySQL database for a school district. The database needs to have a teacher-friendly web interface to allow database updates, searches, reporting, etc. Security, cost & ease of use are high concerns.

I admit to being weak in PHP code development so I am looking at software that creates the MySQL web interface in PHP (or CGI). I have found programs such as PHP Maker, PHPMagic, AppGini, EasyData/SQL and Webdata Pro.

Anyone care to share their experiences with any of these programs or do you have better suggestions?
