Is there a way to get a drive label from PHP? I'm trying to write a script to copy a CD-ROM to an ISO in Linux and keep the volume the same. That's the only part I can't get working.

Not that I'm aware of. There are functions [php.net] that provide the means to execute commands on the system itself though.
