I have over 300 different merchants being advertised on my site through the various affiliate networks. Unfortunately, they sometimes suspend/deactivate a merchant without letting me know and I simply don't have the time to check through every network every morning to make sure nothing has gone on overnight.

Is there a good script/program that will periodically check the affiliate link reaches a site and not a "holding" page?

The only ones I know are ftp programmes which include link checking but they only check for a response the page is there not what page it is.
