Message Too Old, No Replies

Will not add record to table

Completely New to This

I do not recieve any error messages, but the script for the add button does not add a record to the mysql database. If anyone could help me i would appreciate it.

Place a 
or die(mysql_error());
after every mysql statement and examine the messages. Go have a closer look at the UPDATE and DELETE statement syntax at the mySQL documentation [dev.mysql.com]

The error is most probably because you are missing an apostrophe in your INSERT query:

$car_pref_3'

should be:

'$car_pref_3'

As baertyp previously mentioned, using mysql_error() will pin point the problem.

ok, i changed the synatx errors and it says Record Added however in the database there was a row added but no information except Client_num is stored.

You have a NULL value for client num, thats why the data was added. You only need one value to contain data for a row to be added.

Try echoing some of your variables before they reach the database to see if they hold any values.
