PHP Book Question...

Welling and Thomson...

PHP and MySQL Web Development by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson - 1st Edition.
PHP and MySQL Web Development by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson - 2nd Edition.

Anyone study from both of these books, does the 1st Edition still contain useful and relative information. I paid full price for it, then without notice they pop a second. Thanks for any help.

I'm still using the 1st book. The information is relavant and I haven't found any flaws in it so I haven't bothered to get the 2nd edition.
