I need some sort of "news script" (think cutenews?) that allows me to add news in the backend and have it appear on the site. The catch is, unlike other sites based on 'news' or 'blogging' where you have customized squares maybe 100x100 pixels stacked on top of each other, with a news update in each.. the ENTIRE AREA I have for these news updates is about 100x100.

I'm looking to have maybe 3 updates visable at a time, underlined title, short 2 sentence description with a link to the page/article that the update is about. No seperation between them (besides a line break :D )Also, I'd like to have some sort of 'archive' where the user can view all past news on a seperate page (where, obviously, size isn't an issue).

What kind of script do you suggest? I have no idea where to begin. My host works with PHP and cgi/perl, and prolly other stuff too. Thanks :)
