Hi,

I have recently been told by my server admin that they do not recommend installing php 5 yet becuase it is probably still buggy. Does anyone know/estimate when it will be stable?

Also when do you recon plesk will support it?

PHP5 is no longer in 'prereleases', but in 'official releases'. This means that, after a fairly long period of testing, the PHP group thinks it's stable enough to hit the streets. I haven't heard any big complaints regarding bugs, but then again I haven't been actively looking either.

I've been using it on my production server for a couple of months now. No problems!

With php 5.0.2 expected sometime next week, I think its pretty stable. But of course, that is my opinion.

I won't use it for a while. I'll wait and see what bugs pop up in the changelog for the next few patches and then decide. I will then use it in our dev environment for a time before we put it on our live servers.
