email form results

So I have a php script that emails form results. It works on one server but not another, any reason for that? Is there something that needs to be installed on the non-working server? I have PHP Version 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.9 jnstalled on the non-working server. Is there something I should be looking for when looking at the phpinfo or something else that can be done?

for start, put the following 2 lines on the top of your page
to show any php erros

error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors', '1');

Make sure the path to sendmail is set correctly.

thank you the issue was postfix wasn't activated, works now
