Inner pages are opening with and without extension

Extension problem in joomla website

One of my website inner pages are opening with and without extension, Is this a problem for website ? Website is developed in Joomla and earlier a person told me that it is not possible to restrict a website to single extension. Now a days when i check page authority of my inner page it is showing different with and without extension, Is this a problem? I appreciate if anybody can help me out this.

Yes, it's called Duplicate Content.

Nonsense. Fixing URLs within a CMS is a little trickier than with hand-coded sites because you have to work around an existing htaccess. But it can be done. In fact it has probably already been done; I wouldn't be surprised if there's a plugin. Then you just click somewhere and don't have to do any work :)

Thanks, i appreciate your reply. when I'm checking cache of my website, it is showing only one page, whether i'm checking with or without extension. So how i come to know it's a duplicate content.

Do you have an idea about such plugin
