I am in need and seeking help from friends. I have created a site using Popshop tool and this tool is easing me to create multiple pages in a single page, but I have given a title and description tag for the page because it is not possible to provide meta tag etc as it is not possible in control panel.

But after few days there is a discrepancy in my webmaster account and I noticed that it is showing duplicate meta tags and description for psps_page=2, psps_page=3, psps_page=4, etc.

Then I removed the title and description from the tags, of course the issue of duplicate is solved but there is new issue with missing title tags.

Again I am trouble and worried about how to solve the issue. I come in contact with the Popshop support and website building support, but there is no satisfactory response from them.

I tried to search in Google with a hope that I may get help from any friend. After doing a lot of search I come on this website, by reading some threads I am now confident that I may definitely get help on this forum and can solve my issue.

I have already explained above regarding the issue with my website. At the same time by checking my other blog in which I have not given the title or description, though the script is catching words for title and description from the blog post.

So what I am expecting that, if I get a PHP code to fetch about 60 characters for the title and about 150 characters for meta description from the body of the website, as shown in example above. I hope this can solve the duplicate title and descriptions issue perfectly, since the content on every page will be different and it will show the page title and description differently per the page content.

Or if any other ways for doing so, but it should be self explanatory because I am unaware of PHP code, help in this matter, I will be thankful.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, pshaik.

I'm not familiar with popshop but it sounds like there is only one template area for you to modify title, description and other meta information rather than on each page being developed. If they are not providing support and the software is really that bad you really only have a couple of choices. First, I would probably get away from that software. Otherwise you are just going to have to modify it extensively to get the end result your desire.
