I found a great little book
Just over 100 pages
"Essential PHP Security" by Chris Shiflett
A real must have.
I think it should be added in the list of PHP books this forum is sometimes asked to supply.

For a PHP newcomer it will help starting with security in mind.
It comes from the editor that always has a reptilian on the cover .... See what I mean.

We need something (tutorial)regarding all strings manipulations and related functions (explode, implode etc...)

WHAT WILL BE GREAT:
a forum section for tutorials
for example I'll love to post (needs to put it together) what I have done with OO templating
I will not support the idea of adding a script repository section.
But a tutorial area could be a great addition.
