Fast PDF to JPG conversion

Hi,

I am using ghostscript for conversion of PDF to JPG at my site.
Besides that i'm using Imagemagick to provide thumbnail previews of the output.

Currently the number of visitors are 1000 / day, but system resources are all used up.

Does anyone knows a faster and more scalable module/script that is able to do this job?

i always used simple pdf convector. it works really fast without any problems.
