PHP file listing script that can be included

I am looking for a simple PHP file listing script that can be included. Most of the scripts I've seen are set up as an index.php that you throw into the directory you display. I'm trying to replace a PERL script that is included on a page without having to redo the site structure.

The only criteria that I have is that it needs to have sortable columns.

Any suggestions?
