I have a website that is a subscriber site. The client now wants to open the inside of the site up to ranges of ip addresses instead of subscriptions.
My back end guy set up our first range of ips - 8200 of them.
We tested with our own ips and we got right in but the client is unable to get right into the site.
My client went to the rejected ip and asked if there were any settings on their end or if our site was being rejected by their IT department.
The client's client came back with that they had never been asked for IT access before and is upset that we can't get it done.
I'm looking for any ideas why an institutional user's ip would be not allowed access even when the ip is in the database.
