Object oriented programming php

I would like to switch to object oriented programming since this allows component reuse. But it seems a bit difficult since prewritten programs are in PEAR folders which is complicated to use. Can any one suggest me an easy way to start off?

Download this book "PHP Object-Oriented Solutions" by "David Powers"( or get the paperback). I did. After a few chapters it will feel natural. Amazon has a kindle edition that you can download:
