Blog redireting to post?

Hi Im hoping someone can help me.

My wife did a blog post the other day and now my blog homepage is this particular post. I have no clue whats goin n. Here is what happens when you go to [thesafestcandles.com ] it redirects to [thesafestcandles.com ]

Can anyone take a look and see whats happening and why it wont go to the main page?

hmm seems like you are using wordpress.....
Can you please simply check what exactly is set in your admin panel when you go to ( Settings > Reading) from the left menu.
I am curious to know whether she has set any redirection from the server control panel Or some htaccess tricks.

Thanks for responding. Nothing set in the reading section. It says show 5 posts/full text. Any other ideas?

when you visit the blog's homepage it looks like its redirecting straight to the post page itself.

i would try removing the .htaccess file from the blog directory first, because that is probably what is doing the redirecting. and i'd turn the permalinks setting off as well, and put it back on the default, because that is what is actually rewriting the URL.

try both of those and then report back.

did you just upgrade to wordpress 3.0, by any chance? maybe one of your plugins is out of date. try turning each one off, in turn, to see if one of them is affecting it.

Thanks all there was a problem with a redirection Plugin that was out of date.
