PHP exe to run local scripts

Hello,

I'd like to start running some scripts on my local pc using the command line. I've read I need to get php.exe on my computer but I can't find how to install that.

Could someone please let me know some basic steps to be able to run php scripts at command line? Thanks!

There are step-by-step instructions for each OS on the PHP Installation and Configuration [php.net] manual page. Once you have PHP installed you can start Using PHP from the command line [php.net].
