Build an online photo editor with php

Can anyone suggest any open source PHP online / web based photo editing applications?

Requirements are, cropping, resizing, and the ability to mark up images (e.g. layering red squares and arrows over an uploaded image)

My search queries are returning plenty of free to use versions but no source code.

Using Flash isnt an option yet.

Any suggestions?

ImageMagick [imagemagick.org] with the Imagick PHP interface can do all that. But no, don't know of any canned solutions, you'll have to code it.
