PHP troubles

Hi there,

I'm fairly new to php and am having troubles with a contact form that I am developing. When I hit the send email button the /form site that I created will show up without the .php extension. When I manually type in the .php it runs fine. Any ideas on how I get the button to recognize the .php? I hope I have provided enough information. Please let me know if you need more.
